First Time Here?

What to Expect

In our worship services we sing, read scripture, pray, participate in serving our local community and hear an inspiring sermon.

There's no set way to dress at CHPC. People wear whatever is comfortable for them. On any given Sunday you'll see anything from shorts, T-shirts and jeans to suits in both services. Come as you are! Whatever you choose to wear... you're welcome here!

Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a place for families of ALL configurations and children of ALL abilities. Children at Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church have the highest quality church experience.

  • Children's Worship takes place during both worship hours. Children 5yrs through 3rd grade are invited to attend.
  • We have a nursery and children's wing that is clean, safe and staffed by workers who have been screened and trained.
  • Our Nursery is for children 6 weeks to 2 years old and we have childcare for 3 and 4 year olds available from 8:50am until 12:15pm.
  • We offer Children's Sunday School at 10:10am for children 2 and up

Because we take your child's spiritual development and safety very serious we follow a thorough Child Protection Policy. To learn more about our Children's Ministry and the Safe Sanctuaries Child Protection Policy you can visit our Children's Ministry page by clicking here
