Reverend J. David Randolph

New Pastor of Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church

The Pastor Nominating Committee is excited to introduce the next pastor of Colonial Heights Presbyterian church, Rev. J. David Randolph. 

David Randolph comes to Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church from First Presbyterian Church in Oxford, Mississippi where he was Associate Pastor for Young Adults and Their Families. David will start work at CHPC on June 1st and his first Sunday in the pulpit will be June 6th. David grew up in Greenville, South Carolina where he and his family worshipped at Fourth Presbyterian, Greenville. David went to Clemson University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. 


He met his wife, Katherine, at Clemson and joined her after graduation in Birmingham, Alabama where she was studying Optometry. His first job out of college was with Wells Fargo where he worked for two years before moving to Atlanta to attend seminary. He interned at South Highland Presbyterian while in Birmingham and then at Decatur Presbyterian while attending Columbia Theological Seminary. Later, he did a CPE Chaplain internship at Atlanta Medical Center until he completed his Master of Divinity Degree. 


After he was ordained in 2017, he and Katherine went to Oxford, MS where he served as Associate Pastor, this included a two year period where he and another Associate Pastor shared pastoral duties for First Presbyterian, Oxford after their Senior Pastor received another call.
